Once the Parkville All-Weather Wicker Conversation Set gets to your house, you're going to sit outside for the same reason that people climb mountains, chase tornadoes and post videos of themselves doing amateur dirt-bike stunts on Youtube. You'll do it because you can. And you'll be able to sit outside in any season, thanks to the resin wicker exterior on a steel frame that makes up this all-weather set. Resin wicker is similar in appearance to wicker, but its plastic-based form resists moisture, wear and rot. Four seat cushions are also included, covered in a beige outdoor fabric that complements the variegated brown tone of the wicker. The center coffee table includes a glass top to complete the look of this modern outdoor ensemble. Each chair weighs 18 lbs, the coffee table weighs 12 lbs and the loveseat weighs in at 32 lbs. Some assembly is required.

About the cushions While this cushion fabric is highly water-repellent, if left out in the rain or under sprinklers, it will absorb moisture along the stitching. We recommend that you cover the cushions or store them indoors when not in use. If the cushions do get wet, stand them on their side and allow the water to drain out of the stitched seam. To clean, use mild dish soap and water, do not use harsh chemicals.

This is an attractive and comfortable outdoor furniture set, but the assembly was the most frustrating experience I've ever had. I've put together lots of Chinese-made products and have always appreciated the ease and precision of assembly. But this set took several hours because the holes weren't as carefully placed as they should have been and the Allen wrench was very difficult to use because of the hole locations. I would never want to assemble something like this again.

I suspect many of you are considering this item due to the reason it attracted me - the price. Well, let me save you a few hundred bucks. For about the same price (maybe $100 more) head to your local discount furniture sture and order yourself a patio set from there. At least they will ship and assemble it for you. Aside from the set lacking quality (the wicker keeps falling apart), I'd have to say the biggest flaw is the assembly. The engineers completely missed the mark here.I've assembled many tables, chairs, etc in my life and I can safely say that this is the hardest piece of furniture I've ever assembled. The holes don't line up, and the threads are of so poor quality, they strip from hand tools and fail to align. Not to mention that in my particular set, I was missing screws, so now I have a lovely, half-assembled useless hunk of wicker.If you do decide to ignore my warning (I told you so), at least heed these tips: The instructions say two people should assemble this. They mean two people. If you don't know someone who can help you put this together, just throw it away now. Nothing balances, so you have to hold pieces in place in mid-air to get the threads started in the screws. If you try to do it by yourself, I guarantee the threads will slip and you'll strip a screw.Next, throw the included allen wrench away unless you really love blisters and don't know how else to burn 8 hours of your day. Buy yourself a drill-bit extender for a power drill (4in +) along with an allen bit that matches the same size. The screw holes are so close to the walls of the wicker, it's impossible to rotate the wrench 360 degrees to screw the screws in. You'll have to make an insane amount of half-turns, taking the key out and putting it back in as you go along.Finally (maybe this should have been first) count the parts. It seems obvious, but I think a lot of people miss that step.I wouldn't recommend assembly of this set to my worst enemy. The only reason it gets two stars is that it looks nice and I imagine if I was able to actually assemble mine, it would at least look ok.

This set was not the easiest to put together but is of good quality. I would have no issued recommending this set to any friends or family members.
